Founded in 1900 and headquartered in Oakland, Maryland, First United has grown to serve communities through dozens of full-service offices throughout Maryland’s Garrett, Allegany, Washington and Frederick counties, and West Virginia’s Mineral, Monongalia and Berkeley counties. The bank is held by First United Corporation, a one bank holding company with over one billion dollars in assets.
