FIRST UNITED BANK & TRUST ANNOUNCES R. TROY LINTON AS NEW WEALTH ADVISOR

Keith R. Sanders, Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer and Jennifer L. Jones, Vice President & Senior Wealth Advisor and Team Leader announce that R. Troy Linton has joined the First United team as Wealth Advisor serving the Frederick County area.  Linton will counsel his clients through investment management, retirement concerns, and financial planning through a consultative relationship in which his customers’ experience is tailored to their needs.

Troy has over twenty years of local trust and investment experience.  He began his financial services career as a wealth investment advisor after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master’s in Business Management from Mount Saint Mary’s University.   From there, he progressed through various trust and investment roles.

“We are excited to welcome Troy to our wealth management team.  His investment and trust knowledge and experience working with the local community will serve him and our customers well,” commented Jennifer L. Jones.

Linton is active in many Frederick County communities and serves on numerous non-profits.   Currently, he is a board member for the Woodsboro Medical Center as well as a Good Samaritan for the Frederick Memorial Hospital.  He also serves as Treasurer for the Church of the Brethren.  In addition, Linton received the Certificate of Recognition from the Frederick Affordable Housing Council for his work bringing corporate attention to diverse, not-for-profit organizations.
