Keith R. Sanders, Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer and Jason A. Sweitzer, Vice President & Senior Wealth Advisor and Team Leader is pleased to announce the promotion of David J. Upole to Senior Wealth Advisor.
Mr. Upole has over twenty years of investment services expertise with eight years at First United. Dave holds the five different security licenses which includes Series 24, 7, 63, 65 and 66. He also holds Life Insurance licenses in Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Dave works closely with clients in both Allegany and Garrett County helping them to achievement their financial goals.
Dave is a Garrett County native and he is a Frostburg State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics. Dave is also currently enrolled in the Canon Trust School and has just completed his first year of a three-year program.
Mr. Upole has been active in Garrett County and has served money local organizations including the Lion’s Club of Grantsville. Outside of the office, he enjoys watching his three children play soccer, basketball and track. He attends the church at Chestnut Ridge in Morgantown. His other interests include hunting and fishing and working on their family farm. Dave resides in Grantsville, Maryland with his wife and three children.
