Sure, eStatements are greener. But that’s not the only way they’re better than traditional paper statements. Your First United eStatement notification arrives in your email inbox the second it’s ready–days faster than traditional statements. So you get your information in a more secure, faster and archived format.
Ready to enroll? Simply sign-up for Internet Banking, or, if you already have, just log in to your accounts and select "Statements" located under the Accounts tab in the menu bar. You will be directed to an "Add Online Statements" page; from here you are able to enroll all of your accounts in eStatements or select specific accounts to enroll in eStatements.
To enroll all of your accounts in eStatements
1) Open and review the "Statement Service Agreement and Disclosure"
2) Select the checkbox next to the disclosure
3) Select "Submit"
To enroll specific accounts in eStatements
1) Select the "add online documents" link
2) Change the delivery method to "Online" for each account you would like to enroll
3) Open and review the "Statement Service Agreement and Disclosure"
4) Select the checkbox next to the disclosure
5) Select "Submit"
Some customers have reported receiving text message alerts, stating that their debit card has been "blocked" and that they need to reply to the text message with their full debit card number. This is a phishing attempt and you should never enter your card information or any other private personal information into a text message or email.
