I had Points on the "old" Rewards system, when will they transfer?
Points from the old version of My Bank Rewards are expected to be transferred to your account in the new My Bank Rewards powered by ScoreCard by the end of October 2016.
Am I still earning Points right now during this update/transition?
Yes! You will continue to earn Points during this transition to the new, enhanced My Bank Rewards powered by ScoreCard. In fact, you'll begin seeing your earned Points more frequently as the system will update every night with your new point total based on approved, authorized transactions. Then, by the end of October 2016, you will see additional Points added that were migrated to your account from the old My Bank Rewards.
Can I redeem Points during this update/transition?
Yes! During the first few weeks of October, if you earn enough Points to redeem from new, approved and authorized purchases; you most certainly can redeem those Points.
What is My Bank Rewards?
My Bank Rewards is a Rewards program offering Points for qualifying purchases. Points can be redeemed for a variety of items, such as merchandise, airfare, hotels, travel packages, cash back, local merchant gift certificates and more.
How do I access My Bank Rewards?
On your first visit to the site, you will need to set up your profile with a username and password. You will also be asked to set up some security questios and answers for password retrieval. Once you create your profile you will log in with your username and password.
Will my old My Bank Rewards username work on the new site?
No. You will need to setup a new username and password in the new system as noted above.
How many Points do I have?
Point balances are always available on the website, within Personal Internet Banking or you may call Rewards Headquarters at 1-800-854-0790 to verify your balance.
How can I earn Points?
Simply use your My Bank Rewards participating card (“Rewards card”) for your purchases. You will earn Points based on your qualifying net purchases (purchases minus returns and/or other related credits). You will earn Points as long as your account is in good standing (that is, not delinquent, in default, closed, canceled, blocked, suspended or otherwise inactive and not available for use as a source of funding). You do not earn Points for cash advances, balance transfers, unauthorized or fraudulent charges or for fees of any kind on your card account. Credits to your Rewards balance (such as for returns of purchases) will reduce the Points available in your Rewards balance.
Each time you swipe your First United business or personal debit card, you will earn Points as follows:
Additional Points may be earned through special incentives, bonuses and periodic promotions.
How can I combine my debit cards together?
With the 16 digit card number for another debit card within your household, you will be able to combine those cards together to earn into a single amount using the Household option in your Account settings. Select Household under the Account menu and then choose Add Account to begin!
What types of Rewards are available?
Available Rewards include merchandise, local merchant gift certificates, gift cards, cash back and travel Rewards.
If I don't have enough Points for the reward I want, can I buy the extra Points I need?
No. A sufficient number of Points must be available in your account to redeem the reward you want. Points are not available for purchase. However, with travel redemptions, using the Rewards website, you may use cash to supplement your travel reward purchase.
When can I order Rewards?
You may order Rewards anytime as long as your account is in good standing (that is, not delinquent, in default, closed, canceled, blocked, suspended or otherwise inactive and not available for use as a source of funding) and you have enough Points to redeem the requested reward.
How do I order Rewards?
For merchandise Rewards you can order merchandise Rewards using the online shopping feature at the Rewards website. Cash back requests must be done using the Rewards website.
You can also call Rewards Headquarters at 1-800-854-0790. You may also print an order form from the website; simply complete the form, including all information requested, and mail to the address printed on the form.
Travel Rewards, airline tickets, vacation packages, and cruises may be ordered by calling and speaking with a Travel Services Representative at 1-800-842-3006. You may also use the online travel booking site to obtain select air Rewards. In addition, you may purchase additional airline tickets and make car and hotel reservations online. If you prefer, Travel Services Representatives can assist with booking both purchased as well as redeemed Rewards travel items.
When do my Points expire?
Points earned from any debit card will expire after three (3) years. Points are expired from the system in the month of August after the three (3) year timeframe has elapsed.
Will I receive a points balance statement?
Cardholders with an email address on file will receive an email monthly eStatement. The eStatement will show the cardholder their point balances and various items/promotions available on the rewards website.
Who can redeem Points?
Any card holder in your "household" can redeem the Points available to the household.
For example, if Bob and Mary each have a debit card and they have "householded" (linked) their cards together; each, when logged in, will see their individual Points earned, as well as the total for their "household". When redeeming, both Bob and Mary will each have the ability to spend the Points earned within their "household".

Some customers have reported receiving text message alerts, stating that their debit card has been "blocked" and that they need to reply to the text message with their full debit card number. This is a phishing attempt and you should never enter your card information or any other private personal information into a text message or email.
